Dechra is a global specialist in veterinary pharmaceuticals, with a strong presence in the development, manufacture, and sales of high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Manufacturing and Supply Chain Division, working closely with our Transformation Workstream Leads and team members across functions to update timelines and tasks in Microsoft Project monthly.
Main Responsibilities- Support the Programme Manager in the development and implementation of project activities that align with the strategic and transformation goals.
- Set up project governance and ensure change management skills, processes are in place in alignment with the PMO function.
- Track progress status for individual workstreams within projects, including milestones, actions, and KPIs.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to collect, collate, and analyse KPI data to produce monthly and weekly performance reports.
- Work with the Transformation Workstream Lead and Finance on the management of project budget, including accurate financial forecasts as required.
- Ensure benefits tracking is in place and well evidenced to ensure optimal financial results.
- Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager and Transformation Workstream Leads, ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of records.
- Provide direct support for selected projects/programmes, including coordination of meetings, capturing meeting minutes, consolidating actions, and reminder notifications.
We are looking for a team player with flexibility to get any task completed, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to research and analyse key information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other MS Office tools is essential. Experience in project budget management and reporting, as well as administrative and clerical procedures, is highly desirable.
Occasional global travel may be required for this role.
