We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an Early Years Professional to become part of our creative and dedicated group of educators and practitioners. This role is ideal for a qualified or senior practitioner currently engaged in an early years or nursery environment, possessing a comprehensive understanding of nursery operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to fostering early excellence by implementing a tailored curriculum that supports each child's growth across all areas of learning and development.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, showcasing this knowledge through engaging activities and play, while creating an environment where every child can achieve their fullest potential.
  • Communicate effectively with young children, parents, families, and colleagues, fostering collaborative relationships with external agencies and local schools.
  • Plan and oversee the effective deployment of practitioners within the setting, ensuring high standards of interaction and learning are maintained.
  • Prioritize the safeguarding of all children, ensuring their wellbeing and safety are at the forefront, while creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Maintain the high standards of organization and cleanliness within the nursery.

Additional Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with the Nursery Lead/Manager, contributing to all aspects of nursery operations.
  • Conduct daily risk assessments to ensure a safe environment.
  • Carry out staff appraisals and provide supervision.
  • Oversee each child's learning journey, including all necessary documentation.
  • Create and sustain an enriching Early Years environment that promotes achievement and growth.
  • Commit to upholding the policies, procedures, and ethos of the nursery.
