Your Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a commitment to fostering early educational excellence by implementing a tailored curriculum that supports every child's growth and development.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, utilizing this expertise to create engaging activities and a nurturing play environment.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, building strong relationships and collaborating with external agencies and local schools.
  • Plan and oversee the deployment of staff within the setting, ensuring high standards of interaction and learning are maintained.
  • Prioritize the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children, ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere where they can thrive.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Nursery environment to uphold high standards.

Additional Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager, contributing to all facets of Nursery operations.
  • Conduct daily risk assessments to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Perform staff evaluations and provide supervision.
  • Oversee each child's educational journey, ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained.
  • Create and sustain an inclusive Early Years environment that promotes achievement and growth.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the Nursery's policies, procedures, and ethos.
