Many students at this school present with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and some have faced early life traumas.

Additionally, there are students categorized under various SEND classifications, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Global Development Delay (GDD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and Down Syndrome.


Student Support:
Students at this institution require guidance and support in managing their behavior. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate resilience, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students who may be challenging to reach.

Moreover, you should be capable of teaching a diverse range of subjects, including Physical Education, History, Geography, Social and Personal Development, Vocational Studies, and Functional Skills in Mathematics and English.


Professional Development:
Five Education is dedicated to assisting newly qualified teachers in gaining essential experience. While working with us, you will have access to training opportunities such as Makaton and Team Teach. You will also be assigned a dedicated consultant to support you throughout your journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure effective planning and resource utilization.
  • Deliver lessons that meet Ofsted standards for outstanding teaching.
  • Maintain student assessments in accordance with the school's marking policy.
  • Adapt teaching methods to ensure differentiation in all lessons.
  • Implement behavior management strategies that foster positive conduct.
  • Establish effective communication with parents regarding student progress.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Two years of references, one of which must be from a role involving children or vulnerable adults (recent and can be from paid or volunteer work).
  • PGCE qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • A valid DBS/Police check.
  • Availability to work five days a week.

Compensation:
The pay rate is £20 per hour, with a full working day consisting of 7 hours, excluding an unpaid lunch break. Your daily earnings would total £120.00, with the potential for higher earnings.
Payment Structure:
Five Education operates a PAYE payroll system, ensuring transparency with no hidden fees, such as administrative charges or employer National Insurance contributions. Please note that the pay rate mentioned includes holiday pay.
