Role Summary

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Officers to join our team at Milestone House, which serves as emergency accommodation for individuals experiencing homelessness.

As a member of our dedicated staff, you will participate in shift coverage throughout the week, providing essential support and guidance to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that high standards of customer service are maintained while conducting thorough needs assessments, risk evaluations, and support plans in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities will include facilitating training and offering assistance in daily activities that enhance skills necessary for independent living, fostering positive interactions, and encouraging progress towards resettlement.

Ideal candidates will possess experience working with at-risk populations and have a solid understanding of safeguarding practices and the resources available for those facing homelessness. Above all, a genuine empathy for this demographic, coupled with a commitment to making a meaningful impact, is essential.
