Investment Associate, Leading Mid-Market Secondaries Fund, London, UK

Our client is a renowned player in the private equity secondary market, providing liquidity solutions for LPs across various asset classes, including buyout, venture capital, real estate, and mezzanine funds. They also specialize in complex GP-led situations, boasting a strong track record across multiple funds.
As an Associate on their lean London team, you'll be involved in every stage of the deal process, focusing on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolio companies and funds. You'll shape the investment process from the outset, conducting in-depth market research and due diligence on prospective investments.
Key responsibilities
- Perform thorough qualitative and quantitative evaluations of potential transactions
- Prepare comprehensive materials for investment committees
- Post-acquisition, you'll develop forecasts and commentary on portfolios, informing the firm's future relationships and deal flow
Requirements
- Excellent financial modeling skills, developed through experience in M&A
- Interest in quantitative analysis and attention to detail
- Demonstrable knowledge of the secondaries industry, with a desire to grow your skills in this expanding space
