Ultrasound Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and interpreting complex images to provide accurate diagnoses.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and accurate ultrasound examinations using advanced analytical and judgement skills.
- Formulate comprehensive, diagnostic reports for each examination, demonstrating a high level of clinical expertise.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing empathetic and diplomatic support during sensitive or distressing situations.
- Maintain and update personal clinical expertise in ultrasound scanning, participating in ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
- Review and maintain accurate patient clinical records, ensuring compliance with trust policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the education and training of students and clinicians in the field of ultrasound, sharing expertise and knowledge to enhance patient care.
