Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of Ultrasound investigations, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Ultrasound investigations using a variety of modalities, including ANC/TV scanning and Non-obstetric scanning.
- Develop and maintain a high level of professional knowledge and skills in imaging modalities, including digital/PACS enabled ultrasound equipment.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient service delivery.
- Participate in the supervision of student radiographers and contribute to the development of our team's skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Post-registration professional experience in diagnostic ultrasound imaging.
- Sound professional knowledge of imaging modalities, including ANC/TV scanning and Non-obstetric scanning.
- Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner and work flexible hours to meet service demands.
- Desirable: Highly specialist training in aspects of ultrasound, developed knowledge of specialized ultrasound imaging, and experience with digital/PACS enabled ultrasound equipment.
