Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with essential personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
  • Encourage physical and mental engagement by facilitating recreational and social activities for residents, both individually and in groups.
  • Oversee the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of resident care plans, being mindful of any specialized support requirements.
  • Supervise and guide junior care staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred, but a minimum of Level 2 is required, with a commitment to pursue Level 3.
  • Previous experience in a care setting is essential.
  • Flexibility to accommodate shift work is necessary.
