The Strategic Finance Partner plays a crucial role in assisting the Head of Finance within the Energy Infrastructure sector, delivering essential business partnering support across various operational units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end process, ensuring accurate recognition of costs and revenues at the project level.
- Facilitate the timely delivery of comprehensive divisional accounts, providing insights into significant variances from forecasts.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to offer financial insights that support informed decision-making.
- Provide business partnering assistance for our Electrical Services, Flotech Performance Systems, and Forecourt Services divisions.
- Prepare bi-weekly forecasts for business units, clearly outlining potential risks and opportunities.
- Oversee financial management of large-scale projects to ensure alignment of costs and revenues.
- Review and assist in the preparation of tender submissions.
- Analyze capital expenditure requests.
- Assess cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.
- Continuously seek to enhance processes and drive operational efficiency.
