Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the management of Integrated and Network operations across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Project Implementation, Site Setups, Operational Improvement Programmes, Cost Saving Initiatives, and providing direct site support as required.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establishing norms and standards of performance
  2. Monitoring production performance and organisational and operational processes
  3. Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management
  4. Identifying and delivering service improvement activity across the business through leadership direction, strategic implementation of business objectives, and the implementation of contractual terms and business principles
  5. Working collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver growth, improve margin, and provide sustainable solutions to drive the business forwards
  6. Operating as part of a wider group leadership team and working closely alongside Commercial and Technical teams to ensure overall business success

Requirements

  1. Ability to identify potential and motivate a team of people
  2. Extensive knowledge of processes and procedures
  3. Experience of working successfully within a Logistics/FMCG environment, Co-Packing experience would be advantageous
  4. Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities
  5. 5+ years management experience
  6. Extensive experience of managing a team across multiple locations
  7. Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to strict deadlines
  8. Experience of working within a production environment and with packaging machinery
  9. Experience of customer, BRC and ISO audits
  10. Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards associated with the industry
