Transport Team Manager - Coventry

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Team Manager to join our team at Food Service Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a division of our company, overseeing drivers and activities to ensure we consistently meet and exceed our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a fleet of vehicles and oversee the planning and execution of multi-drop deliveries.
  2. Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure drivers are meeting performance standards.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transportation operations.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a managerial position within Transport or Logistics.
  2. Strong understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics.
  3. Knowledge of Transport management systems and processes.
  4. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
