Position: Security Officer (Front of House)

Location: Cardiff City Centre, with opportunities in Newport & Swansea

Compensation: £19.50 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) & Saturday (9am - 1pm)

Are you a holder of a SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license?

We are seeking candidates who possess a SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license, exhibit exceptional customer service abilities, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Previous experience in security roles is a prerequisite. This position involves working from Monday to Saturday.

The responsibilities will include front of house tasks, so candidates should be prepared to stand for extended periods during their shifts.

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection License
  • Excellent customer service capabilities
  • Professional appearance with outstanding communication skills
  • Willingness to perform front of house duties, including standing for a significant portion of the shift

Responsibilities Include:

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors to the site in a courteous and customer-oriented manner
  • Managing access control procedures
  • Handling conflict situations effectively
  • Conducting internal and external patrols
  • Operating security systems as necessary
  • Preparing detailed and accurate incident reports
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Collaborating with site Assignment Instructions
  • Responding to emergency incidents
  • Working as part of a customer-focused team
