Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Team Leader to lead the care and support provision for a teenage boy with Cerebral Palsy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a care and support team, coordinating practical and administrative aspects of the care package in collaboration with the Case Manager and the client's Father.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a care and support team to provide high-quality care and support to the client
- Coordinate practical and administrative aspects of the care package
- Work closely with the Case Manager and the client's Father to ensure the client's needs are met
- Manage and maintain accurate records of the client's care and support
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the client's independence and well-being
- Provide support and guidance to the care and support team
- Ensure the client's safety and well-being at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Team Leader in a care and support setting
- Previous experience of driving a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of disability and safety issues
- Understanding of client confidentiality
Working Hours: 20 hours per week. Availability for evening, and/or weekend work during term time. Availability to work on weekdays, evenings, and weekends during school holidays. Occasional overnight sleep-in support may be required.
