About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Officer to join our award-winning Social Media team at YoungMinds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging social media content that drives impactful campaigns and supports our mission to improve children and young people's mental health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content for our organic social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Grow and maintain our target audiences, increasing engagement and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement social media campaigns that drive meaningful results.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform content and strategy decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, ensuring our content remains relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media content creation, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Excellent copywriting and graphic design skills, with the ability to create engaging, multi-media content.
  • Experience in growing social media accounts for a brand or personality, with a strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for social media and a commitment to creating content that drives meaningful results.
