Mental Health Nurse Opportunities

We are seeking skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) and Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) to join our team serving the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to patients with mental health needs within the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
  • Utilize expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Manage and document medication prescribing and administration using EPMA systems to ensure patient safety and adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and person-centered care.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed by the assigned hospital or clinic within the Trust.
  • Provide community psychiatric nursing services as required.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using EPMA systems for accurate medication management and documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and make informed decisions.
  • Hold a valid BILD certification in PMVA (Preventing and Managing Violence and Aggression) and Breakaway training.
  • Registered as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
