Position: Finance Support Specialist
This role involves providing essential administrative assistance to the Finance Department.

Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:30, Monday - Friday

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Job Responsibilities:

The Finance Support Specialist will be tasked with delivering effective administrative support to the Finance Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Compiling schedules of service charge account expenditures.
  • Coordinating with external accountants and managing the filing of statutory company accounts.
  • Applying balancing charges and credits, issuing demands as required.
  • Collaborating with Property Managers to produce annual service charge budgets.
  • Overseeing and invoicing monthly collections on Rent accounts.
  • Monitoring and reconciling the Rent bank account weekly.
  • Addressing requests and inquiries from Property Managers and managing customer queries.
  • Processing supplier payments through the batch BACS payment system, providing remittances, and filing paid invoices.
  • Assisting with various other accounts-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • AAT Part Qualified or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage challenging supplier interactions while maintaining a flexible approach to meet business and client needs.
  • A naturally inquisitive mindset with the ability to analyze and enhance internal systems and processes using continuous improvement techniques.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with the ability to maintain perspective and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer use, including intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
