Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing procurement from cradle to grave across various indirect spend areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, and vendor management.
- Support the development and implementation of category management strategies.
- Oversee the supplier approval process and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of procurement reporting and sustainability reporting.
- Coordinate procurement services and support the procurement team as needed.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable procurement experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Working knowledge of PCR 2015 and/or evidence of training on the new Procurement Act.
