Location: Gatwick Airport

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 0700-1900, 4 on/4 off

Rate of Pay: £14.70 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aircraft Appearance Supervisor to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleaning and presentation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage cleaning teams to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.
  • Responsible for stock management and stock takes to maintain efficient operations.
  • Ensure the team maintains quality standards of cleaning and presentation.
  • Set an example and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Efficiently plan and allocate tasks to team members to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure all members are working to agreed standards.
  • Responsible for signing in and out equipment and ensuring all paperwork is managed and processed in line with GDPR.
  • Complete final walkthroughs with the team to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Responsible for absence management processes for cleaners, ensuring effective reporting to managers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative to identify and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Approachable and courteous manner.
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate environment.
  • UK full driving licence essential.
