Job Summary

The Aircraft Appearance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation of aircraft at Gatwick Airport. This role requires a proactive and experienced individual who can manage a team of cleaning staff, ensuring that all service level agreements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of cleaning staff to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are maintained.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Oversee stock management and inventory control to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure cleaning standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and task allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is maintained and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • UK full driving license essential.
