Job Title: Apprenticeship in HR and Recruitment

This is an exciting opportunity to join our HR team at Enra Specialist Finance as an Apprenticeship in HR and Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and HR projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide best practice advice and guidance on company policies, terms and conditions of employment, and legislation.
  2. Deal with various HR queries and matters throughout the business, reliably and in accordance with legal requirements.
  3. Support with HR inductions to ensure each new starter has an exceptional welcome to the business.
  4. Inform employees of their rights and entitlements and keep them up to date on any changes that are made.
  5. Maintain a good working knowledge of employment law and case law practices.
  6. Deal with employee relations, performance management, and ensure line managers have effective processes in place.
  7. Investigate and deal with all employee relation issues, including disciplinary and grievances.
  8. Take notes, produce documentation, and advise on fairness and process on disciplinary and grievance investigations.
  9. Report on key HR metrics.
  10. Review and update policies and procedures.
  11. Ensure monthly reports are submitted on time.
  12. HR-related project work.
  13. Assist in the day-to-day running of a busy HR function.
  14. Involvement in auditing and reporting.
  15. Update and manage HR databases.
  16. Help ensure compliance and keep up to date with new legislation and policy writing and change.
  17. Work with hiring managers to manage incoming vacancy applications, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  18. Inform unsuccessful candidates and provide feedback on their interview.
  19. Ensure probationary periods are monitored and actioned on time.
  20. Upload job descriptions onto the company website and job boards, ensuring they are up to date and reflect current responsibilities.
  21. Assist with the off-boarding process.
  22. Support with the renewal of our benefits.
  23. Support with payroll where required.
  24. Create and update procedure guides and manuals.
  25. Maintain all HR files.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team player but also able to work independently when required.
  • Able to handle routine tasks efficiently and accurately, such as record keeping.
  • Strong personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
  • HR and recruitment experience.
  • L&D experience desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Personal Attributes:
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of staff.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • High level of organization and able to meet deadlines.
