Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Administrative Team Leader to facilitate and enhance the effective operation of the Adult Eating Disorder service, with a particular emphasis on the physical health pathway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and evaluate administrative staff within the Eating Disorder and Complex Emotional Difficulties teams.
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Adult Eating Disorder Operational Lead and clinical staff, including occasional cross-cover for the Complex Emotional Difficulties team.
- Ensure a consistent and effective service to the public and team members amidst a diverse and fluctuating workload.
- Guarantee adequate administrative and clerical resources and coverage.
Main Duties:
- Manage personnel administrative processes for the Adult Eating Disorder service, including induction, training, and recording of leave and sickness.
- Collaborate daily with junior administrative staff from both teams to uphold Health & Safety, Security, and Fire regulations within the designated area.
- Ensure accurate information is prominently displayed in relevant areas.
- Conduct supervision and appraisal systems for all administrative and clerical personnel, including temporary staff.
- Participate in the recruitment process for administrative and clerical roles, including short-listing and interview panel duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- RSA III in word processing and RSA II in audio typing or equivalent qualifications.
- GCSEs in English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 4 in Administration or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in an office environment with secretarial duties, including reception.
- Experience in managing petty cash.
- Prior experience in a supervisory capacity.
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 in Supervisory Management.
- Experience in a Health or Social Care setting.
Skills and Competencies:
Essential:
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks for oneself and others.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective communication skills with clients, colleagues, and the public.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and work independently without supervision.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the Trust's financial policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Abilities:
