Drilling and Well Control Specialist

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Communicate drilling knowledge to software developers and QA engineers.
  • Collaborate with software and product design teams to define simulation development requirements.
  • Manage regular team meetings for project management, technical support, and content development.
  • Control and test changes and new features.
  • Develop and control new content.
  • Conduct factory and site commissioning, including factory testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Drive the implementation of new learning content.
  • Oversee rig visits, utilize external SME contractors, and communicate with customers regarding simulation issues, training in drilling and well control, and improvement.

**Off-Site and Travel Requirements**

  • Regular travel to other 3t locations, including offices, training centers, and client locations.

**Requirements**

  • Strong SME-level knowledge in drilling.
  • Drilling and well control experience, including the use of Cyberbase.
  • Offshore experience, including running riser and casing operations and stuck pipe.
  • Clear, concise, and organized note-taking skills to assist in articulating customer requirements to the team.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills in all forms.
