Position: Primary School Support Assistant

Location: Southport

Salary: £85-£90 per day

Working Days: Flexible hours

Connex Education is on the lookout for passionate and dedicated support assistants to become part of our vibrant team for the upcoming academic year. We are offering both part-time and full-time opportunities that cater to various needs within the Southport area. The following positions are available:

  • Long-term assignments in a single school providing one-on-one support to a student.
  • General support roles for extended periods.
  • Part-time opportunities to assist children with special educational needs (5 half-days or 2/3 full days).
  • Ad-hoc assignments to cover staff absences due to various reasons.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 qualification in teaching assistance or relevant experience in primary education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
  • A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex.
