Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Connex Education. As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs in a Primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic and emotional support to pupils with Special Needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, understanding their individual needs and triggers
  • Collaborate with other Teaching Assistants and the class teacher to create a comprehensive support system

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with Special Needs
  • Ability to provide personal care as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude
