The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is a leading provider of educational support services, partnering with local councils and special educational needs (SEN) teams throughout the UK. We offer tailored support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEN.
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced SEN Tutors to provide support to students who are not currently accessing mainstream education, across various locations.
Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.
Position Details:
- Location: Various locations
- Position: SEN Tutor
- Hours: Flexible working hours available
- Duration: Ongoing
- Hourly Rate: £25.00 per hour
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience working with SEND students
- UK classroom teaching experience
- Ability to be creative, patient, and think outside the box
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
