Sports Education Assistant

Location: Nottingham NG18

Pay Scale: £80 - £100 per day

Position Overview: GSL Education is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Education Assistant to become a vital part of our educational team. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to foster a passion for physical activity and wellness among students.

Role Summary: As a Sports Education Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead educator in delivering engaging and effective physical education sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of high-quality physical education lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of students.
  • Develop and implement detailed lesson plans and educational frameworks that align with national educational standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and help set realistic and achievable objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in teaching physical education at the school level.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • An updated CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
