Job Overview

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Physical Education Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging and effective physical education lessons.
  • Support the organization and supervision of sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities such as after-school clubs.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during PE classes, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help maintain and manage sports equipment, ensuring it is in good condition and readily available for use.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to motivate students and promote physical fitness.

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for sports and physical education, with a commitment to inspiring and motivating students.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • First Aid certification is highly desirable, but not essential.
