About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

Working Monday to Friday between 8am and 5:30pm, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes child safety and wellbeing. You will ensure that children are supervised at all times, participate in swimming sessions, and use equipment safely.

We offer a comprehensive training program, including first aid qualifications, to support your growth and development as a coach. You will also have the opportunity to interact with parents/guardians and contribute to the implementation of high standards in children's care and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-energy sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks and swimming sessions
  • Ensure safe use of equipment and promptly record any incidents
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance coaching skills
  • Interact with parents/guardians and contribute to the implementation of high standards in children's care and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities available)
