About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and engaging environment for our campers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver sports and activity programmes that cater to the needs and abilities of our campers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sports sessions that are engaging, fun, and safe for children aged 5-17 years.
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager to plan and deliver sports and activity programmes that meet the needs and abilities of our campers.
  • Supervise children during their lunch breaks, participate in swimming sessions, and oversee the safe use of equipment.
  • Record any incidents or accidents that occur during the camp.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a Sports Coach.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years.
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games.
  • A Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities are available).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
