Role Overview: Are you passionate about sports and eager to engage in a role that aligns with your interests? Position Details: We are looking for dedicated Sports Assistants and Lifeguards at our sports facility. In this capacity, you will receive support to enhance your skills and acquire industry-recognized qualifications to advance your career in the sports sector.
Training Opportunities: If you are not yet fully qualified, we provide comprehensive training within your first six months to help you achieve the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). Additionally, our Professional Development team will assist you in identifying the necessary courses, funding, or programs to help you reach your potential.
Key Responsibilities: As a team-oriented individual, you will demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence. Your duties will include:
- Ensuring the highest standards of facility operations.
- Setting up and delivering activities and large events.
- Providing safe supervision for customers and lifeguard coverage for our 25-meter indoor swimming pool.
Benefits: In return for your contributions, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A generous holiday allowance of 26 days plus 8 public holidays.
- A pension scheme.
- Access to leisure and childcare facilities across our campuses.
Work Schedule: Flexibility is essential, as evening, weekend, and public holiday work will be required. Core operational hours for the facility are from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. This position is offered on a permanent contract with full-time hours per week, and job share arrangements may be considered.
