About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our dynamic team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments of children and young people, developing and implementing effective treatment plans to address their needs.
  2. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, family therapists, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists, to provide holistic care and support.
  3. Supervision and Training: Participate in regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the best possible care.
  4. Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of our CAMHS service, ensuring it remains responsive to the needs of our community.
