Registered Manager - Complex Care

CJP Outreach Services is a rapidly expanding care provider dedicated to delivering outreach and supported living services for individuals with intricate care and support needs. Our mission is to place the individuals we serve at the forefront of our operations while ensuring our team members feel valued, supported, and invested in.

We are in search of a new Registered Manager who embodies dynamism, forward-thinking, and exceptional communication skills. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Challenging Behaviour, Mental Health issues, and Autism. Ideally, candidates should currently hold a Registered Manager position to join our esteemed organization.

This position presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned and motivated Registered Manager to oversee our service operations. The selected candidate will have the chance to enhance the existing service and possess the autonomy to develop it responsibly. The Registered Manager will be tasked with inspiring our staff to provide the highest quality of care to adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs, as well as delivering Positive Behaviour Support to empower and enrich their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:
  • Provide effective leadership and supervision to all team members.
  • Encourage a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Oversee daily operations, including safety, maintenance, and resource management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to CQC regulations and quality standards.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits to ensure compliance.

Support and Welfare of Individuals:

  • Promote the well-being, safety, and positive development of all individuals supported.
  • Manage case processes, including assessments, support plans, and progress tracking.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions for new referrals, ensuring stability and support.
  • Communicate effectively with the staff team and regularly review changing requirements.
  • Address critical incidents and provide crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Identify training needs and offer or arrange professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage staffing levels and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are met for audits and inspections.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance systems to enhance service delivery.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements for better outcomes.
  • Build and maintain positive interdepartmental relationships to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop collaborative relationships to establish key performance indicators and action plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in building effective teams and motivating staff.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, DOLS, Safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
  • Thorough understanding of CQC requirements.
  • Full and clean driving license and Enhanced DBS Disclosure are required.
