We are in search of a proactive and innovative Registered Manager who possesses outstanding communication abilities and can effectively support adults facing Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Challenging Behaviors, Mental Health issues, and Autism. Ideally, candidates should currently hold a Registered Manager position.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned and motivated Registered Manager to oversee our service operations. The selected candidate will have the chance to enhance the existing service and exercise autonomy in its responsible growth. The Registered Manager will play a crucial role in inspiring our staff to deliver top-quality care to adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs, while also implementing Positive Behavior Support to enrich their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to all team members.
- Encourage a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, maintenance, and resource management.
- Maintain strict adherence to regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
- Engage with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections to meet all requirements.
Support and Welfare of Individuals:
- Promote the well-being, safety, and positive development of all individuals in our care.
- Manage case processes, including assessments and support planning.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for new referrals, ensuring stability and support.
- Communicate effectively with the staff team and regularly review changing needs.
- Address critical incidents and provide necessary crisis intervention.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.
- Manage staffing levels and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
- Ensure high-quality standards are met for inspections.
- Implement quality assurance systems to enhance service delivery.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements for better outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships for smooth operations.
- Develop key performance indicators and action plans to enhance service quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health challenges.
- Proven ability to build and motivate an effective team.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Capacity Act and Safeguarding.
- Thorough understanding of CQC requirements.
- Full driving license and Enhanced DBS Disclosure are required.
