About the Role
The Director of Estates and Facilities Management is responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the University's estate, ensuring it supports the institution's vision and meets the needs of its faculties and professional services areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement estate strategies that align with the University's goals and objectives
- Oversee the maintenance, development, and security of the built estate
- Improve space utilization and contribute to delivering the University's net zero carbon and sustainability objectives
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure the estate supports the University's academic and research activities
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize estate performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in estate management, facilities management, or a related field
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
