Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to join our team at PEOPLE3CONSTRUCTION LTD, a leading Modular Building Specialist in the industry.

As Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of team leaders and operatives, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance, while meeting or exceeding output targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Safety
    • Monitor, enforce, and comply with all aspects of Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance.
    • Ensure team and sub-contractors are working safely with high standards of housekeeping.
    • Conduct accident and near-miss investigations with the General Manager/Production Manager.
  • Team Management
    • Organize, control, and direct the activities of team leaders and operatives according to production plans and priorities.
    • Set targets for jobs and control budgets across your team.
    • Monitor attendance and absence within the team.
  • Training and Development
    • Ensure production operatives are trained in tasks being performed within the department.
    • Identify training needs with the General Manager and HR team.
  • Discipline and Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
    • Maintain discipline within the department.
    • Collaborate with the Lean Practitioner to develop a continuous improvement program within your area.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
  • NVQ Level or Team Leadership course.
  • IOSH Training or Equivalent.
  • Experience of Manufacturing Fabrication background desirable.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • Basic IT Skills.
  • Good written and communication skills.
