Role Responsibilities

As a multi-disciplinary maintenance engineer, you will perform both planned and reactive maintenance as part of a Monday to Friday double day shift alongside three other engineers, including an apprentice, with some independent work during evening hours:

  • Conduct maintenance on various machinery, including mixers, baggers, coolers, and conveyors.
  • Replace and swap out components such as pipework, pumps, motors, transformers, and contactors.
  • Diagnose faults on Siemens PLC systems.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for the multi-disciplinary maintenance engineer position, candidates should possess:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within heavy industry.
  • Familiarity with working inside electrical panels.
