Role Responsibilities

As a multi-disciplinary maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, working alongside three other engineers, including an apprentice, on a Monday to Friday double day shift schedule. You will also have periods of independent work during the hours of 5-10pm:

  • Perform maintenance on a variety of machinery such as mixers, baggers, coolers, conveyors, and more.
  • Replace and swap out various components including pipework, pumps, motors, transformers, contactors, and others.
  • Conduct fault finding on Siemens PLC systems.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify as a successful multi-disciplinary maintenance engineer, candidates should possess:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within heavy industry.
  • Experience working with electrical panels.
