As Senior Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring team leaders and operatives are actively engaged to meet high safety, quality and environmental standards as well as meeting or exceeding output targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsible for monitoring, enforcing and complying with all aspects of Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance, ensure team and sub-contractors are working safely with high standards of housekeeping. Ensure team have received relevant training and inductions. Write risk assessment and SOP where needed. Organise, control and direct the activities of team leaders and operatives under your supervision according to production plan and priorities set by the General Manager within the allocated time and the planned client requirement date.
Ensure materials are used effectively, safely and stored correctly and all plant, equipment and tools are maintained in conjunction with the Maintenance team.
Ensure production operatives are trained in tasks being performed within the department and identify training needs with the General Manager and HR team.
Ensure company policies and procedures are been followed and maintain discipline within the department, carry out formal disciplinary reviews and return to work interviews when required.
IOSH Training or Equivalent
Regular Overtime available
Bonus dependant on achieving targets.
