Main Duties:
  • Assist Underwriting Team: Work in close partnership with underwriting staff to oversee and process application pipelines.
  • Manage Communications: Oversee and address inquiries from your email and team inboxes, ensuring prompt and precise communication with brokers and direct clients.
  • Handle Phone Inquiries: Respond to telephone inquiries regarding new applications from brokers and clients, delivering clear and helpful guidance.
  • Process Applications: Diligently manage the submission process, ensuring all data entry is accurate for a seamless transition to underwriting. Record all new inquiries in the CRM system.
  • Conduct Fraud Prevention Checks: Execute necessary fraud prevention checks and manage applications from receipt to submission.
  • Assess Cases: Organize new applications, conduct initial case evaluations, review clients' assets and liabilities, and request further information as required.
  • Request Consents: Seek consent for second charges from current lenders.
  • Manage Pipeline: Actively oversee a pipeline of 50 cases, ensuring timely information requests from clients and third parties to meet completion goals.
  • Update Clients: Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders, ensuring all necessary information is requested within service level agreements.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy: Guarantee that all data entry and system notes are accurate and completed within agreed service level agreements for all new transactions.
  • Build Relationships: Communicate clearly and consistently with brokers, introducers, clients, and colleagues to foster and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Prepare Instructions: Create valuation, asset manager/project monitoring surveyor, and legal instructions for the underwriter.
  • Draft Offer Letters: Compose conditional offer letters and facility letters.
  • Networking and Development: Represent the organization at professional networking events to support your ongoing career development.
  • Engage in Additional Activities: Participate in activities outside your daily responsibilities as necessary.
