Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a secondary educational institution in Fareham that is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Creative Arts Educator to become part of their faculty on a full-time basis.

As a Creative Arts Educator, you will be instrumental in enhancing the creativity and self-assurance of students, delivering lessons that not only develop their artistic abilities but also promote their personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-time role commencing in the upcoming term.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate art and design lessons tailored to diverse student abilities.
  • Create a positive learning atmosphere rooted in kindness, ambition, and diligence.
  • Engage students through innovative lesson plans that inspire artistic expression and personal success.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the art and design curriculum.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Art & Design.
  • Experience in teaching art at the secondary level.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and delivering high-quality educational experiences.
  • Strong classroom management capabilities, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Favorable school-based references from recent employers.
  • A genuine passion for fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and deliver captivating Art & Design lessons customized for students of all skill levels.
  • Assess and provide feedback on students' work to support their development.
  • Ensure the classroom is a nurturing and inclusive space where creativity and expression are encouraged.
  • Set high expectations for students aligned with the school's ethos of kindness, ambition, and diligence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in refining the curriculum and enhancing teaching methodologies.
  • Participate in school events, open evenings, and parent consultations as necessary.

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
