Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a secondary educational institution in Fareham that is in search of a passionate and dedicated Creative Arts Educator to fill a full-time role.

As a Creative Arts Educator, you will be instrumental in enhancing the creativity and self-assurance of students, delivering lessons that cultivate their artistic abilities while promoting their personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-time role with responsibilities starting immediately.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate art and design lessons that accommodate diverse student abilities.
  • Create a supportive learning atmosphere based on kindness, ambition, and diligence.
  • Engage students through innovative lesson plans that encourage artistic expression and personal success.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the art and design curriculum.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Art & Design.
  • Experience in teaching art at the secondary education level.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Strong classroom management capabilities, with a talent for engaging and motivating students.
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Positive references from recent educational employers.
  • A genuine passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and deliver captivating Art & Design lessons tailored to all student abilities.
  • Assess and provide feedback on students' work to support their academic growth.
  • Maintain a classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
  • Set high expectations for students aligned with the school's values of kindness, ambition, and diligence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Participate in school events, open evenings, and parent consultations as necessary.

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
