About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Play Leader to join our team at Let Me Play, a leading childcare provider in the South East of England and The Midlands. As a Play Leader, you will be responsible for leading a variety of fun-filled activities and supervising children at our Fun Week programme in the school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate your team to deliver the programme to a high standard
  • Liaise with parents, staffing team, and directors on a regular basis
  • Ensure sessions delivered are challenging, realistic, and fun for primary-aged children
  • Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care
  • Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently
  • Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is: Fun, Inclusive, and Educational
  • Understand the individual needs of the staff and children in our care and challenge/engage them appropriately
  • Deal with any first aid/emergency situation
  • Be approachable in liaising with parents
  • Be committed to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your ability
  • Be creative and passionate in your delivery
Requirements:
  • Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children
  • Has experience working at children's holiday camps and/or a childcare setting
  • Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and general practice
  • Punctual, Reliable, and Committed
  • Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children
Preferred Requirements:
  • Clean UK driver's license
  • Experience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as: Arts n Crafts, Multi-Sports
  • Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College, or University
