About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead our holiday club play programme at Fareham Leisure Centre. As a Holiday Club Play Leader, you will be responsible for delivering a fun and engaging programme of activities for children aged 5-12, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a variety of activities, including sports, games, arts and crafts, and other fun-filled experiences
  • Supervise and manage a team of staff to ensure the smooth delivery of the programme
  • Liaise with parents and carers to ensure their needs are met and their children are having a positive experience
  • Ensure the programme is delivered to a high standard, meeting the needs of all children, regardless of ability
  • Deal with any first aid or emergency situations that may arise
Requirements
  • Experience working with children in a holiday camp or childcare setting
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 5-12
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage staff
  • First aid certification
