About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Manager to join our team at Creagh Concrete. This is a senior role that will be responsible for the daily management of our technical engineering department, who design and detail our large precast projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical critical paths to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Provide technical expertise, solutions, and guidance to sales, technical, manufacturing, and construction teams
  • Implement BIM and 3D modelling software and train technical staff
  • Manage the design stage on various building projects and build strong partnerships with clients
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years technical management experience in a design office within the construction industry
  • Preference given to applicants with a sound knowledge of the precast industry
  • Experience of structural analysis software, particularly Autodesk Robot, is desirable
  • A working knowledge of Autocad is essential, and knowledge of Revit and the BIM process is a distinct advantage
  • Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills
