Position Title: Senior Energy Inspector
Location: Inverness
Work Hours: 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Fixed Term (2 Years)
Compensation: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
The starting salary will typically be at the initial point of the pay scale.

Role Objective: The successful candidate will engage in and facilitate initiatives and projects that aid both the Council and the broader region in achieving net zero emissions, in alignment with applicable statutory obligations, as well as national and local policies. The individual will specifically focus on providing expertise and assistance regarding the transition of the Council's property assets to Net Zero.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a role requiring a solid theoretical and practical understanding of energy and climate change issues.
- Willingness to travel for work and training purposes.
