Drive Sales Growth with eGain Corporation

eGain Corporation, a leading provider of customer experience and knowledge management software, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives by qualifying inbound marketing leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Qualification: Research leads before introductory calls to understand their business needs and market position.
  • Needs Analysis: Identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, document details in our CRM system, and report weekly.
  • Lead Nurturing: Nurture leads with standardized content and engagement schedules via email and calls.
  • Lead Qualification Criteria: Ensure leads meet our qualification criteria before qualifying for sales opportunities and disposition non-advancing leads in our CRM system.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback on lead quality and maintain accurate CRM records, track lead metrics, and analyze trends to improve qualification processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Skills: Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
