About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Services Inspector to join our team of professionals responsible for maintaining the high standards of communal areas and properties within our housing portfolio.

As a Property Services Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting regular property condition surveys to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensuring the accuracy and up-to-date status of our property database to inform future maintenance and repair works
  • Carrying out property and health and safety inspections, including pre- and post-inspections
  • Liaising with residents to ensure their expectations are met and property standards are maintained
  • Completing Fire Risk Assessments of communal buildings and assets

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge or qualifications in a relevant sector, such as building construction, surveying, or building regulation
  • Experience of working within public sector housing
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders on a regular basis
  • A good general knowledge of IT, particularly Microsoft office packages
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
