We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity with a leading organization in the Defense and Space sector. They are currently seeking a proficient Structural Engineering Analyst to become a vital part of their team for a contract role.


Key Responsibilities and Required Skills


The primary focus of this role is to conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and generate analytical stress documentation related to Space Systems, including satellite components and structural assemblies.


Core responsibilities include:

  • Comprehend and analyze stress assessment workflows as defined by the client, encompassing both static and dynamic analyses, along with specific post-processing methodologies.
  • Execute Finite Element Analysis, covering all facets: modifying and adapting geometries;
* develop or refine models with suitable levels of idealization and boundary conditions;

* carry out verification and validation tasks;

* perform simulations (static, dynamic, vibrations),

* conduct post-processing and result analysis.

  • Carry out analytical stress evaluations utilizing either standard methods or specified tools.
  • Communicate and report on progress and findings, both internally and externally.
  • Draft technical documentation.
  • Engage in collaborative sessions with design teams regarding structural outcomes and design modifications.
  • Foster direct working relationships with clients and represent your findings during client discussions.
Your Qualifications

  • A degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or scientific field, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in stress engineering within the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in using HYPERWORKS and NASTRAN for Finite Element modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in alignment with client requirements.
  • Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
  • A collaborative team player, capable of working effectively under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to communicate and report at various levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
