Role Summary:
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and generate analytical stress documentation related to Space Systems, including satellite components and structural assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend and analyze stress assessment workflows as defined by the client, which may include static and dynamic evaluations along with specific post-processing methodologies.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis, encompassing:
- Modification and adaptation of geometrical models;
- Development or refinement of models with suitable idealization and boundary conditions;
- Execution of verification and validation processes;
- Running simulations (static, dynamic, vibration analysis);
- Post-processing and interpretation of simulation outcomes.
- Perform analytical stress evaluations utilizing established methods and tools.
- Communicate and document progress and findings to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Draft comprehensive technical reports.
- Engage in collaborative sessions with design teams regarding structural outcomes and design modifications.
- Maintain effective working relationships with clients and represent your findings during client discussions.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering or scientific field, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in stress analysis within the aerospace sector.
- Proficient in using HYPERWORKS and NASTRAN for finite element modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in alignment with client requirements.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
- Collaborative team player, capable of working effectively under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to communicate and report at various levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
